McDonald’s plans to purchase 225 of its franchise restaurants in Israel. This decision comes shortly after the company expressed concern over the impact of the Israel-Hamas war on its business. McDonald’s has reached an agreement with Israeli franchise Alonyal to acquire the franchise restaurants in the country. Alonyal, which employs over 5,000 people, has been operating McDonald’s restaurants in Israel for more than three decades. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed. McDonald’s aims to continue providing a positive experience for employees and customers in the Israeli market. The majority of McDonald’s restaurants worldwide are operated by local franchise operators, allowing them to make independent decisions in response to crises.
