Alaska Airlines reaches tentative labor deal with flight attendants

Alaska Airlines and its flight attendants union have come to a tentative labor agreement after more than a year of negotiations. The terms of the deal, which the union described as a ‘record contract,’ have not been disclosed. The agreement is expected to include a significant pay raise for the flight attendants, addressing their demands for better compensation. The deal still needs approval from union leadership and members before it can take effect. In February, the flight attendants authorized a strike, but as per labor laws, they were unable to walk out.
